So excited to hit Boracay again on Friday! And with great company at that! Hehe
This is why I love Cebu Pacific—they gave us the best deal. P1500 round trip. Lovette. So we were able to splurge on the hotel—Regency baby. I love their pools and buffets! I can’t wait.

Counting down the days!!!

My zen-like state from eating really heavenly cuisine at Chelsea in Serendra is being destroyed by an english-in-vain speaking girl. She’s seated in the table next to me with two other guys (who speak decent english) and she is really getting on my nerves.

The way to this girl’s heart is thru sticky rice with mango.

Who could resist that?
From Spices Restaurant in Tomas Morato. Tastes even better than it looks.
Nom nom nom.

Guess who’s out on a dance rehearsal now.
I’ve always felt he looked familiar. Now I know. The resemblance in their smiles is uncanny.

I am finally getting most of my papers settled.
I’ve been putting it off for too long (read: 4 years) but last week, I finally got (for the first time ever and for no particular reason except for a mishap at the travel agency) my NBI clearance. And in a blur too, thanks to Z’s dad. I didn’t even have to line up or anything. Just went straight to his office in Taft and voila, the following day Z gave me my only official ID at present. So thank you travel agency booboo, I have an official “identity” again.
I’ve always been proud of the fact that whenever I am needed in an appointment, I am always ALWAYS on time. And today, I was quite early. Was at the DFA Libertad gate at around 7:45 a.m. ready to make my much-needed personal appearance for renewing my passport. Not that I have plans of going anywhere outside the country. Although I am hopeful 2010 will see me making my way to Macau and Cambodia (right Cel?) so it’s really convenient I am starting to get everything ready.
< I also noticed something during last week’s passport frenzy. Something to do with my face. I noticed it in my passport photo. One side of my face apparently has more expression than the other. Weird. >
This Thursday, it’ll be my (er) second student’s driving permit. I wanted to shortcut this one too but I don’t know anyone at the transportation office well enough to help me out with getting a driver’s license pronto. So I have to do it the old school way—line up. Oh well, you can’t hightail your way through everything!
On a totally unrelated note, I am reading Julie & Julia by Julie Powell. It’s a memour describing Julie’s search for fulfillment, which she finds when she embarks on a project to do all of the recipes in Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking Vol. 1. It’s really funny, profane and honest. I find myself relating to Julie in a host of ways, but mostly in the fact that we both exhibit psychotic mood swings—she, however, is prone to shrieking. I mostly sulk. Hehehe. And she’s a blogger too. Only she’s famous, and I’m not. And she lives in New York. While the New York I happen to pass by these days is just the one in Cubao.
I am itching to travel. 10 more days to Bora!
Ally McBeal August 22, 2009

I caught a rerun of Ally McBeal this evening and it brought me back to the me some years ago.
See, I’ve always related to Ally—her search for that elusive *ahem* Mr. Right, the awkwardness with which she dealt with men, the many funny anecdotes (the bloopers, really) that came with the package of the complicated (or so we like to think) world of dating. Watching Ally McBeal (and the rest of the equally screwed up cast) is sort of like watching me in that phase of my life.
In retrospect, I’d like to think that I milked the most out of that phase. I had a lot of fun doing all sorts of selfish things I was meant to do then. Met a lot of people, learned a lot of lessons. But I realized while watching Ally that I wouldn’t really want to go back to being in that seemingly endless state of limbo. I could ramble on and on about what went on but the thing that I really want to say is this: I am happy where I am.
With you
(kahit na autistic ka)

Hahaha CHEESE!!!!
Thanks for putting up with my psycho moods! Bati na tayo!

(INDAY STIKES BACK: sleepless in shuttle)
The Diary
It was jazz an ordinary day.
The skies were clear, the birds were chipping.
Ang ganda-ganda ng araw!
Nasa SM ako noon at katatapos ko lang mamili ng groceries.
Timing naman nasa foodcore si Angel Locsin, nagpro-provoke ng movie nya.
Grabe, andaming fans, pull-packed talaga!
Dahil fans nya rin ako, nakipila na rin ako.
Then suddenly, out of the loo, may bumulong sa akin ng: ‘Indaaayyyyy. ..’
Huh? It sounded like a familiar sound. Who can it be now?
‘Dodong!’ sigaw ko. (more…)
Yearbook yourself! August 9, 2009

Check out this site: Yearbookyourself.com
It’s so funny. You can generate your yearbook photos from as far back as the ’50s! Wehehehe
I don’t know about you, but I didn’t like my yearbook photos both college and highschool. According to my best friend Au, I looked like Connie Reyes during my college pic—she looked like Sponge Bob, which is actually better than Connie. High school naman, I didn’t really know my angle yet so I ended up half-smiling and sleepy-eyed. Both, needless to say, were nightmares.
But now…Yearbook yourself presents ways for you to create new yearbook photos that are concurrent with the hairstyles of the ’50s up until Y2K so you won’t have to settle for that godawful yearbook pic from years back. Now you can make new memories!
I mean, check out how my photos turned out:

O, ang ganda diba? To vote for your favorite picture, text 2366. Mwehehehe.
Eto, pahabol—

You can also yearbook your bf/husband/shopping buddy’s pic. Check out Z’s:

He’s once planned on getting dreadlocks and now, he’ll finally know how it’ll look when he does!
What are you waiting for? Go yearbook yourself now!
